The Art of shopping in Brighton

We caught the bus from Churchill Sq to lawrence’s art shop, a quite expensive shop but  worth it as the range of materials is second to none. Sarah was like a kid in a sweet shop, “It’s really hard not to be.”

After more than an hour there, we headed back to the studio Laden with canvases, brushes and acrylic paints. Will went to Clarkes stationers on Bond Street, which offers a generous student and loyalty discount. He purchased a set of Inktense pencils, which are similar to watercolour pencils but more vivid. He also bought some hot pressed watercolour paper: hot pressed means it’s smooth, ideal for intricate details. ” A favourite with botanical watercolour artists.”
